HOW CAN TEXTILES BE ENGINEERED TO ENHANCE THE FEMALE FORM?

Modern canons of beauty are expanding. There are more beauty and body ideals to consider than ever before. The average woman wishes to be thinner, taller, have bigger breasts, a smaller waist and a better bum.

Engineered Illusions is a collection of bespoke garments, which have been visually tailored to achieve these aims.

I have used my insights through the study of visual optics on the body to create this anthropomorphic redesign of the female form. Each piece is designed and manufactured using a combination of analog, digital, and 3D design technologies.
